In the Womens Open Division
Ms Leszl L. Gitaruelas placed 4th.
Ms. Mona Liza E. Ambasa placed 13th.
Ms. Merlie B. Edullantes placed 18th
Ms. Maia Estela M. Diaz placed 26th.
The Philippines registered a total of 38 runners. Cebuanas Leszl Gitaruelas and Merlita Arias were among the top performers.
Other Filipinas who participated were Carina Dayondon and Janet Belarmino, who are the first Filipino and Southeast Asian women that have climbed to the top of Mt. Everest.
